Hillary Clinton, the US Secretary of State, touched down at Entebbe airport a short while ago, heading straight to the nearby State House for talks with her host, President Museveni.
America’s top diplomat arrived in the country on Thursday night, but flew out on Friday morning for a visit to South Sudan.
She held talks with President Salva Kiir and other senior government officials in Juba, aimed at ending the standoff with Sudan Republic on sharing oil revenues and border location.
After Friday’s talks with Museveni, Secretary Clinton will travel to Kashenyi, to visit the Special Forces Group training grounds.
She will then travel to Kampala to visit Mbuya Outreach Centre, a home for persons living with HIV/Aids, according to the official programme.
Officials say it is at Mbuya, a city suburb, where Hillary Clinton will officially speak to the media about her visit.
